Circumstances did not allow for me to get out to take a portrait today, so I decided to edit another of the photos from our trip to Prospect Park in Redlands. This is where the B&W photo of Jonathan was taken. I really enjoy shooting here. There are many great oportunities for portraits. There were two photographers, one doing a large family shoot, and another, an engagement shoot, at the same we were there at the park. Don't be surprised if more shots, from our previous visits or another, show up in this project.

I was surprised how difficult it was to grab this portrait with no one in the background. I would have liked to go wider on this, but that just wasn't going to happen. I did break with my plan to shoot natural light portraits this first week but I already did a B & W earlier than planned so I'll just take 'em as I see 'em.

I have decided that Sundays are off days. New portrait tomorrow.
