It was not my intention to do any B & W portraits until later in the month, but this one just kept asking me to go that route. Who am I to argue? There is an edited color version of this one which might show up in a remix gallery or a director's cut of this project at a later date. But today is not that day.
Jojo seemed a little pensive today. I went with a more muted tone to match his mood. It seemed a nice contrast to all the color in yesterday's portrait. I don't know if this will hit with as many people but it strikes a chord with me.
As I embark on this Portrait a Day plan, I feel that I must go through some traditional posing composition options. This feels traditional to me. I like it but I am not breaking new ground today.
